I mean we don't have a similar term for an unmarried man---except bachelor, which we tend to associate with someone who is enjoying single life. But spinster and maiden aunt conjure up images of women who never knew love, never had fun. I hope that Ethel and Gertrude had more fun in their lives than one might think!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15720293202890878993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3930899264249549964.post-56042469988910707242018-04-09T04:19:09.719-07:002018-04-09T04:19:09.719-07:00I hope you are able to learn their story. I think I'd like to do some research on them and write about them, too. Thanks for giving me the idea!Dana Leedshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09387705697369311607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3930899264249549964.post-16724439033961372002018-04-08T16:16:48.753-07:002018-04-08T16:16:48.753-07:00I noticed the hair, as well. The expression is similar in the last photo too. If no one is looking for these 2 lovely ladies, I am glad you have written this story for them.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17863357756727783017noreply@blogger.com
